He proved me wrong! In my 7 Months Old post I said that I was sure Logan wasn't going to crawl before the average (8 months). But yesterday--ten days before turning 8 months old--he took a couple of steps backwards and then a few of hours later took a couple of steps forward! Now today he's been taking as many steps as necessary to get to where he wants! It's really cute because he makes a sound like he's using everything he's got (a huff & puff), haha! I'm happy that he reached this milestone at 7 months-20 days, but I really haven't encouraged it because he'd already been super active lately (without crawling). I have been sooo wiped out this month, it's going to be even worse now that I have to run after him all day. There can be NOTHING on our floor anymore because he'll get it (that's what motivated him yesterday--stuff he saw that he shouldn't have)! 
Our computer is fixed now (our mouse was broken so Joe bought a new one today) but my update will still have to wait because I haven't been able to get anything else done, due to chasing after Logan. Time to childproof the house!!!!

He's getting so big! I can't believe he has reached another milestone and I'm missing it all. :( I took my first week of vacation next year in April so I can be there for his first birthday party! I am NOT missing that one!!!

That is so awesome. My daughter just turned 7 months (yesterday) and she is doing the rock back and forth on our hands and knees thing. My son completely skipped crawling, by now he was walking along furniture. My lil princess will be crawling before I know it.
All those milestones in our kids lives are great! I love them!

8 mos is average? Wow...my kids are always 2 months behind! As long as they get there eventually, I'm good.
Keep an eye out for plants (potting soil) and pet food (if you have any). Those were my dd's favorites.

Wow. He managed to crawl out at this little age... It must seem like an achievement to you to see your baby achieve!! Hurray!
