Friday Fun

In my last post I mentioned that our doctor predicted Logan's adult height, based on the theory that it can be determined at age 2 by doubling that height. So, I looked back at my post last summer titled Size Comparisons to see how Joe & I compared to Logan at this age - whether the prediction was accurate for us.

As I said in my previous post, Logan is 36 inches which puts him at an adult height of 6'1." Joe's height at 2 yrs old was 35 inches which predicted an adult height of 5'10. He is 5'9". . .however, he's always claimed that lifting weights in high school stunted his growth so maybe he would have been 5'10" otherwise :p Meanwhile, I was 32 inches tall which put me at an adult height of 5'2". . .well I am 5'2 and a half :p

LOL, actually the theory seems pretty accurate for us! I still say Logan's going to be 6'0 which is actually what BabyCenter predicts - they have a calculator based on averaging the mother and father's height with your current child's height here.

Happy Friday, everyone!

Awesome! I bet Logan's going to grow up taller and stronger than his dad, I think. (LOL)

I tried that calculating thing, and it said my kid would be about 6'2", based on the stats. LOL. I hope so! My husband's 6'0", but he's the shortest one out of his brothers. I wish they could determine height by the size of the feet, because Rome's got HUGE feet.

I will have to check out the link. I am curious how tall my children will be. I think my older daughter will be very tall and my littler one will be tall but not as tall as my older daughter.
