Observation Of The Day

On Tuesday Logan and I went to the library. We approached the children's area and saw that there were three boys, maybe 5th grade, laughing and reading books. Usually if there are other kids there they are toddlers, or maybe five or six years old at the most, with their parents. So it was uh, different, to hear them inserting their own words into the story. What were the words?

Rectum.
Scrotum.
Penis.
Testicles.

I'm not going to write out their entire sentences (because they were sexual in nature) or else my blog would need to come with an R rating.

I ignored them, glad that Logan had absolutely no idea what they were saying. But every now and then my sweetie pie would look over at them and stare so innocently.

A few minutes later the boys left and two girls, the same age, walked by and smiled at Logan gushing, "You are so cute!" They then sat down at a table and began doing their homework.

From now on I've decided Logan will have all girls as friends.

Haha, just kidding.

Maybe.

Kaelyn can be his first! I promise not to teach her ANY of those words. She won't know what they mean till she's 30...at least! :)

It really bothers me when I hear children that talk inappropriately in public. It's so disrespectful and definitely much different than when I was growing up.

I have three daughters he can be friends with. My oldest watch him and my two smallest daughters while you and I go for coffee and shopping at Walmart. LOL... or something!

I'm already preparing myself for when Jeffrey starts school in September. I've seen how it changed my nephews when they started. Their vocabulary increased not in the best of ways.
