Plans For A Year From Now

The most common question my husband & I are asked is when we plan to have baby #2. Instead of answering the same question over & over, here is a post with the answers. UPDATE: OUR PLANS HAVE CHANGED, GO TO MY MAY 2010 POST TITLED Change Of Plans For Baby #2.

We'll start trying (I'll use an ovulation predictor test) in August 2010 (Logan will be 2 yrs-4 mos old; I will be 30). This is the month that I got pregnant with Logan so if it has the same gestation then he/she will be born in April, exactly 3 years after Logan, otherwise on time would give us May 2011 for the due date (one month after Logan turns 3; I will be 31).

Originally I wasn't willing to be pregnant in the summer. (I was burning hot from 5 months on with Logan and that was in the winter!) But, I've decided I'd rather have a summer baby than a winter baby, so if I don't get pregnant in August then we'll continue in September 2010 (Logan will be 2 yrs-5 mos so almost 2.5 yrs old; I will be 30) because with my history I may go early again so even though the due date would be June 2011 (Logan would be 3 yrs-2 mos old; I will be 31), I could have the baby in May.

Hopefully I will get pregnant within that year - before August 2011 (by then I'll be 31). For the due date of May 2012 I will be 32 and and Logan will be 4 yrs-1 month. That will be it for our family.

If baby #2 is a boy here are our top three name choices:

Miles Joseph or Miles Richard
Cole Joseph or Cole Richard
Levi Joseph (after my stepdad - Richard Lee - named after his grandfather Levi, and my dad Joseph who also shares the same name as my husband. Logan's middle name is James after Joe's dad.)

Our top three name choices for girls:

Krissiana Kathleen (we'd call her Krissy for short, middle name is after my mom)
Sienna Kathleen
Kristianna Kathleen

Unless I hear a new name between now and when I'm pregnant (or one comes to me like it did with Logan)! :)

Oh, and according to both Chinese calendars (which worked for me with Logan) if I get pregnant any month in 2010, it will be a girl. As of now the gender prediction chart doesn't go to the year 2011, so I don't know their predictions for if our first five tries don't work. But the lunar calendar says that all except the months of January, March, and December when I'm 31 (which is 2011) it will be a girl. So according to the Chinese, I have a very high chance of having a girl next.
